Cape Town Stake Youth Camp

Cape Town Stake Youth Camp — a multi-day residential camp for the youth of the stake. Registration, groups, transport, accommodation, and attendance are managed in Entri.

Stake Youth Camp Rules 2026 Safety and Well-being: • Zero Tolerance of weapons: no knives, firearms or fireworks are permitted on camp. • No illicit/illegal substances: Possession of alcohol, tobacco, vapes or illegal drugs is prohibited. Anyone found in possession of such substances will immediately be expelled from the camp. • No physical violence: Fighting, physical assault, or threats will result in immediate expulsion from the camp. • No bullying or any kind of harassment: Verbal abuse, cyberbullying, or discrimination of any kind is prohibited and anyone found doing this will immediately be expelled from the camp. Boundaries and Security: • Respect curfew: all participants must remain in their assigned cabins after lights out. • No boundary breaking: leaving the designated camp boundaries without leaders and/or staff permission is prohibited. • Restricted zone violations: entering cabins of the opposite gender is prohibited. • Follow leaders AND staff instructions at all times. Conduct and Compliance: • No theft, vandalism, stealing or damaging of camp property or other’s belongings is a dismissible offence and will result in immediate expulsion from the camp. Electronics and Digital Conduct: • No cell phones are permitted on camp. Anyone with a cell phone must hand it in to their respective unit/youth leader. In the case of an emergency your phone will be given to you to call your parents/guardians. • No secret recordings: Taking of photos/videos of others in bathrooms, cabins or changing rooms is strictly prohibited. No Profanity/Swearing: • No profanity, slurs, or derogatory language is permitted anywhere on the camp grounds. This includes using the Saviour’s name in vain. • Use respectful communication and words that build others up rather than tearing them down. The “For Strength of Youth Guidelines” are to be strictly followed. If youth do not adhere to these rules they will be sent home with immediate effect by the respective Stake, unit or youth leaders.
