1. Purpose
Entri helps wards and stakes run youth and member events: registration, ticketing, participant profiles, check-in, transport, accommodation, and related tools. This AUP protects participants — including minors — facilitators, and the integrity of event data.
2. Permitted use
You may use Entri to:
- browse public events and register for tickets;
- create and maintain your own participant profile and emergency or medical information where requested for an event;
- perform facilitator duties you are assigned to (check-in, scanning, roster management, transport and accommodation assignment); and
- communicate with participants through Entri’s built-in email notifications where you are an authorised facilitator.
3. Prohibited conduct
You must not:
3.1 Misuse of participant information
- export, scrape, copy, or share attendee rosters, medical information, or contact details for purposes unrelated to the event you are authorised to manage;
- disclose another person’s health, support, or emergency information except as needed for legitimate event safety or operations;
- use participant photos or profiles for marketing, social media, or other purposes without consent; or
- retain participant data on personal devices or accounts after the event except where your calling or local policy requires it and you protect it appropriately.
3.2 Security and access
- access events, rosters, or accounts without authorisation;
- share your password or facilitator credentials;
- probe, scan, or test Entri systems without written permission;
- circumvent access controls, QR tokens, or role restrictions; or
- use automated tools to harvest data from the platform.
3.3 Harmful or unlawful behaviour
- harass, bully, or discriminate against participants or staff through Entri;
- upload inappropriate, offensive, or illegal content (including in profile photos);
- impersonate another person or misrepresent your role; or
- use Entri for any unlawful purpose.
3.4 Misuse of check-in and scanning
- scan badges or QR codes except on authorised facilitator scan pages for legitimate event operations;
- falsify check-in, attendance, transport, or accommodation records; or
- use the device camera feature for any purpose other than Entri’s QR scanning workflow.
4. Facilitator duties
Facilitators and event staff must:
- access participant data only for events they are assigned to;
- use medical and emergency information only for event safety and operational needs;
- lock or secure devices used for scanning and roster access;
- report suspected misuse or data breaches to rob.legend@gmail.com without delay; and
- comply with local church and unit policies in addition to this AUP.
5. Participant duties
Participants must:
- provide accurate profile and emergency information;
- use tickets and registrations only for themselves unless explicitly permitted by the event organiser;
- not share access credentials; and
- treat other participants and staff respectfully.
6. Camera and device permissions
Entri may request camera access on facilitator scan pages to read QR codes. You must not enable camera access except when using those authorised pages for event check-in or assignment workflows.
7. Relationship to event code of conduct
Many events publish a code of conduct on their public event page. That conduct text is set by the event organiser and applies to participation in that event. This platform AUP and the event code of conduct both apply. In case of conflict regarding platform use or data handling, this AUP and our Privacy Policy govern your use of Entri.
8. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and may:
- warn the user or event organiser;
- suspend or terminate accounts;
- remove content; and
- cooperate with law enforcement or regulators.
To report abuse or a data concern, email rob.legend@gmail.com.
9. Changes
We may update this AUP from time to time. The current version is published at /legal/acceptable-use. Material changes may require re-acceptance before continued use.
