1. Introduction
Entri is an online platform for Latter-day Saint ward and stake events — including youth conferences, FSY, girls camp, firesides, and temple and ministering trips. It helps participants register, manage profiles, receive tickets, and helps leaders run check-in, transport, accommodation, and related event operations.
Entri is independent tooling for local leaders. It is not an official product of, or endorsed by, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Entri is not a law firm and does not provide legal, medical, or safety advice. Event organisers remain responsible for their events and for how they use participant information.
2. Definitions
- “Services” — the Entri website, applications, and features we make available from time to time.
- “Participant” — a user who registers for events, manages a profile, or holds tickets.
- “Facilitator” or “Staff” — a user invited to help manage one or more events (for example organisers, counsellors, or check-in volunteers).
- “Event organiser” — the ward, stake, or other unit that runs an event and appoints facilitators.
- “Attendee profile” — participant information stored for an event, which may include contact, church unit, emergency, medical, and support details.
- “Personal Information” — information relating to an identifiable person, as defined under applicable privacy laws (including POPIA in South Africa).
3. Eligibility and accounts
You must be legally capable of entering into a binding contract. Where you register on behalf of a minor or provide a minor’s information, you confirm you have authority to do so (for example as a parent or guardian).
Participant accounts may be created through public sign-up. Facilitator accounts are created only through invitation from an existing facilitator or administrator.
You are responsible for:
- providing an accurate email address and keeping your password secure;
- all activity under your account; and
- promptly notifying us of unauthorised access at rob.legend@gmail.com.
4. The Services
Subject to these Terms, Entri provides:
- public event listings and registration;
- participant profiles and ticketing (including free and paid tiers where configured);
- facilitator tools for rosters, check-in, QR scanning, transport and accommodation assignment, groups, and attendance; and
- email notifications related to accounts, invitations, tickets, and waitlists.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practicable. Payment processing may use third-party providers; applicable fees and refund rules are shown before you complete a purchase and may vary per event.
5. Participant profiles and health information
You may be asked to provide attendee profile information, including emergency contacts and health-related details (for example allergies, dietary requirements, or support needs). You are responsible for the accuracy of information you submit and for having a lawful basis to provide information about others (such as your child).
By submitting profile information for an event, you consent to Entri and authorised event facilitators and staff accessing that information for event registration, safety, medical preparedness, transport, accommodation, and related operations.
Per-event code of conduct text shown on public event pages is set by event organisers and applies in addition to these Terms and our Acceptable Use Policy.
6. Facilitator responsibilities
If you are a facilitator or staff member, you agree to:
- access participant information only for events you are authorised to manage;
- use roster, medical, and contact data only for legitimate event purposes;
- protect devices used for check-in and QR scanning; and
- comply with our Acceptable Use Policy and applicable privacy laws.
Misuse of participant data may result in immediate suspension or termination.
7. Tickets, payments, and refunds
Ticket prices, tiers, and availability are set per event. Refund eligibility depends on each event’s settings (including refund deadlines). Where payments are processed, card details are handled by the payment provider; Entri stores only such metadata as card brand and last four digits where applicable.
8. Acceptable use
Your use of Entri is also governed by our Acceptable Use Policy. Violations may result in suspension, termination, or referral to authorities.
9. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect Personal Information. By using Entri, you acknowledge that policy.
10. Availability and disclaimers
The Services are provided on a best-effort basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, outages, or third-party failures may occur.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Entri is provided “as is”. We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We are not liable for event cancellations, travel arrangements, or decisions made by event organisers using Entri.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Entri (Pty) Ltd and its directors, employees, and agents will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Services.
Our aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Services is limited to the greater of (a) amounts you paid to Entri for the relevant event in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) ZAR 1,000.
12. Termination
You may delete your account through account settings where available, or contact us at rob.legend@gmail.com. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, our Acceptable Use Policy, or if required by law.
Provisions that by nature should survive (including liability limits, facilitator duties, and privacy obligations) survive termination.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will publish a new version at /legal/terms and update the version identifier. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. Where changes are material, we may require you to re-accept policies before continuing to use Entri.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of South African courts, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country require otherwise.
